Christmas

A Christmas list, for yourself or for the whole family

A Christmas wish list that you share with whoever you like. Whoever buys something reserves it, so nothing ends up twice under the tree.

For Christmas you have two options: a standalone Christmas list that you share yourself, or a group in which the whole family makes a list. Read the difference below.

A standalone Christmas list or a group on ChristmasList.app?

Both work with the same account. A standalone Christmas list is shared via ChristmasList.app: the link you share opens in Christmas style.

A standalone Christmas list

One list, for yourself or for your child
You share the link with whoever you like: family, friends, colleagues
Whoever buys something reserves it on the list
The others don't have to make a list themselves

Make a Christmas list

A group on ChristmasList.app

The whole family or group of friends together in one group
Everyone makes their own list and sees the others' lists
Secret Santa draw: everyone buys a gift for one other person
A maximum or target amount for the whole group

A Christmas list for each child

With children, it's best to make a separate Christmas list for each child. That way grandma immediately sees what the youngest would like and what the eldest is asking for, without everything getting mixed up. You manage all the wish lists from one account; your children don't need an e-mail address of their own.

Share the Christmas lists via WhatsApp or e-mail with grandparents, godparents and friends. Whoever buys something reserves it. That way nothing ends up twice under the tree, and it stays a surprise for the children until Christmas Eve.

Christmas gift ideas that never get lost

A good Christmas list often starts in autumn: a book your child wants to read, a game that was a hit at a friend's house. Keep those gift ideas with your unsorted gift ideas and add them to the Christmas list when the time comes.

Didn't find something under the tree? Move it with one click to your next list, for your birthday or another celebration. On the gift ideas page you'll also find inspiration from other lists, which you can add to your own Christmas list with one click.
